Reptile Crafts

Paper Plate Snakes

Supplies:
Scissors
Paper plates
Green markers or paint
Wiggle eyes
Red felt or construction paper
Green felt or construction paper
Glue

What to do:
First, have the child color or paint the paper plate green. Using scissors, cut the paper plate into a spiral starting on the outside edge and working your way to the center. Pulling on the paper plate gently will create the spiral snake. The will be the head of the snake. Glue a round circle of either felt or construction paper to the top of the snake. Glue the wiggle eyes on the round circle. Cut a tongue out of the red felt or construction paper and glue it to the round circle opposite the eyes.

This is a great craft to use when studying reptiles or teaching a number of Bible stories.
